A 364 sq ft Deckorators Venture composite deck with black aluminum railing and angled corners, over a patio kept dry by Trex RainEscape drainage and finished with a stained tongue-and-groove ceiling.

Whittenburg gives this Maryville home two outdoor rooms in one footprint. Up top is a new 26' x 14' deck in Deckorators Venture composite, laid with a picture-frame border and hidden fasteners for a clean, screw-free surface, wrapped in matching Venture fascia, and ringed by about 51 feet of Deckorators black aluminum railing. The corners are cut on an angle to match the original deck's design, and the view from the rail runs all the way to the mountains. Underneath, a Trex RainEscape drainage system keeps the patio below dry, and a stained tongue-and-groove ceiling makes it read like a finished covered porch. The framing is built to last: 6x6 posts, 2x12 joists at 12 inches on center, double rim joists, and joist tape over every joist, beam, and the ledger to seal fastener penetrations against moisture.
